A Midwest Movement Project is a sole-proprietorship organization and independent community label rooted in the education of environmental racism as well as the building of environmentally radical skills. It is important that AMMP’s approaches be Black-Centered, Grass-Rooted, Midwestern, Hip-Hop, Emotionally Intelligent, Plant-Based and Collaborative as a mug.
The primary function of this label is Community Programming, Workshops and Urban Agroforest Installations targeted at Black Youth & Families, Resource Deserts, and the Urban Midwest to carry out a mission of “building the skilled in community, and the community in skills.“
Label membership consist of solely Community Partners and Collaborators, i.e., independent contractors and NOT employees. Anyone’s involvement with AMMP acknowledges them as just that, a highly valued contractor and a part of The CAMMP /kAmp/.
